Our whole complex is surrounded by gardens, fruit trees and 40 hectares of woods, ideal for a vacation geared towards nature and sport.
Guests of the Agriturismo Casa Sesta have free use of a lovely panoramic pool for their enjoyment and relaxation, and of mountains bikes for sport and excursions.
The forty hectares of forest belonging to the
Casa Sesta are part of a game reserve populated with wild hares, pheasants, squirrels and deer. Guests can
observe all of these animals in their
natural habitat while on hiking excursions.
Guests are also encouraged to relax at the
pool, from which one can enjoy a
magnificent panorama and spectacular sunsets looking out past the Pieve di Gropina.
The Casa Sesta Agricultural Enterprise
produces Red Chianti D.O.C.G.,
white wine and
extra-virgin olive oil.
During your stay you are invited to taste our products and take part in the more important moments of farm life: from the pruning of the olive trees in March, to the harvesting of fruit in summer, to the grape harvest and vinification process taking place in September and October, to the late autumn gathering and pressing of the olives for the production of olive oil.
During your stay, the
Pratesi family can advise you on natural itineraries for either
hiking or
mountain biking, or
historical and
gastronomic itineraries, which take you through breathtaking towns and countryside.
