XVIII Century farmhouse on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany.
The Agriturismo Bramasole & Ginestra is an organic family farm with "3 Spighe" (or Ears) quality farmhouse recognition - the highest recognition of the Region Tuscany for holiday farmhouses that offer accommodation facilities. The farm is located on the hills of Montopoli Val d’Arno, a medieval village in the province of Pisa. Equally distant from the most famous cities of the coast and the inland of Tuscany.
The Agritourism offers wide 3 holiday apartments of 110sq.mt. each, carefully furnished, with a large garden and in a friendly family atmosphere. The farmhouse dates back to the eighteenth century: the farm estate Podere La Ginestra dates back to 1760, while the name Bramasole was only added in the late 1800, further to the merge with another close farm and the consequent enlargement of the house.
Olive trees, a winery, mulberry trees and cypresses surround the farmhouse too, with its two haylofts and the bicentennial, still-working oven. We own a 10 Ha. Hill-property, where we mostly produce Extra Virgin Olive-Oil and Saffron. There is a very big garden (6000 sqm.), where children can play. We have two small dogs, as well as cats, chickens, ducks, etc.; all of them are friendly and kind.

Bramasole e Ginestra was built in 1760, 1 km away from the medieval village of Montopoli in Val d’Arno (180 m. above sea level), in the province of Pisa. We live in the middle between Florence (40 Km.), Pisa (30), Lucca (40), San Gimignano (35), Volterra (45), Siena (50), and the sea is 35 km far.
All of these towns, except Lucca, San Gimignano and Volterra, are connected by a freeway which is 4 km. far from here. Montopoli in Val d'Arno (you can find it on the map exactly between Florence and Pisa, 6 Km. West from San Miniato) is a little village with shops and bars, and its beautiful countryside is the highlight of its hilly area, rich in cypresses, olive-trees, vineries, acacia-trees, etc.
