Agriturismo San Giorgio, in Casal Velino (a village nested in the province of Salerno, within the Cilento National Park, opened after the renovation of an old farmhouse in 1995.
The premises are located in a hilly area where guests can enjoy the mild climate of the area and from which they reach the stunning coastline of Marina di Casal Velino.
In the past, at one side of the main building there was an oil mill which, after its renovation, became a sort of country pub included in the agriturismo.
The old millstones have been re-employed to build the characteristic hearth inside the building and the table under the gazebo outside.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a vast private park made of Mediterranean scrub, which frames up the swimming pool.
Agriturismo San Giorgio is the ideal place for whoever (families, groups, and couples) needs a break from cities bustle and wants to fully immerse into uncontaminated countryside.

Our guests can enjoy our amazing 7-metre width and 14-metre long swimming pool. The pool is served by a fully equipped solarium and a roof-covered bar ideal in particularly hot days.
Open from mid-June to mid-September.

To stay at Agriturismo San Giorgio means to have the chance to taste some of the most renowned dishes of Cilento's tradition: each dish is prepared with high-quality products produced in the farmland. Discover our restaurant and take the unique chance of tasting our local products (olive oil, wine, honey, salami) in a cosy and friendly environment.
The specialities and delicacies of the house include pasta (fusilli and cavatielli pasta with hot-pot sauce), lagane, chickpeas and pork rind, char-grilled local meat, Cilento's salami (capicollo, brawn, ham, sausages, bacon), homemade local bread, wine, and limoncello. All our dishes are cooked to order with genuine ingredients.
We invite our guests to take a bit of Cilento home with them – Learn how to cook some of the typical dishes of our tradition and try the incomparable quality of pasta and bread made with your own hands!
Where we areThe San Giorgio Farmhouse is located in Casal Velino (SA), in the heart of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano.
The park is the largest in Europe, known for its beauty, and for the incredible variety of species of flora and fauna, it has been declared by UNESCO as a heritage site since 1998.
The San Giorgio Farmhouse is an excellent starting point to discover Cilento's many treasures: the archaeological sites of incalculable value, such as Paestum, which includes three of the best preserved Greek temples in the world, or Velia, the city of philosophers; extraordinary art cities like Salerno or Padula, famous for its monastery, its cloister is the largest in the world; wonderful natural sites, like the many blue-flag beaches, or the caves of Pertosa and Castelcivita; a constellation of beautiful small villages, built in absolute harmony with the surrounding nature.
