"Il Moro" is an ancient country house located in the heart of the tranquil Tuscany countryside, whilst only 11km from historic Florence. "Il Moro" is perched on the hillside of Rosano, surrounded by olive trees and vines, nestling between St Prugnano farm and an ancient Benedictine convent dating from the 11th century.
"Il Moro" is family owned and run, offering bed and breakfast (and evening meals on request) between 15th April and 15th October in a lovingly restored authentic Tuscan country house with 3 guest rooms.

Paola, Alberto and Azzurra are your hosts at the "Il Moro" Paola is a painter, her works are primarily of flowers, fruits and country landscapes, and are influenced by her strong love of nature. Nature plays a large influence on Paola's choice of decorations and wall coverings, she uses natural materials and colours from the natural earth. Paola comes from a family of hotel keepers and restraunters. Her grandparents had a hotel and restaurant in the 1912's in the historic centre of Arezzo called "La Concordia". People came to eat the dishes of traditional Tuscany cooking.
Alberto is an interior and furniture designer. He has a great love of nature and spends his spare time pruning and caring for the olive trees and vines. He produces a very good and organically red wine and a highly appreciated extra virgin olive oil.
Azzurra is the youngest member of the family, her life revolves around her studies, but loves animals and nature that have been part of her life since birth.
