The apartments and the rooms, all with private bathroom and heating, are located in a typical Tuscan farmhouse and in the Barn (Hay Loft), renovated from 1999 and converted into apartments for Agriturism, respecting the local architecture.
Sport and nature lovers can enjoy country walks or bike or horseback riding (riding track at 9 kms away) or play tennis or golf (15 kms from the Farmahouse).
A private panoramic swimming pool 8 16 mtrs x 7,50 mtrs) is at disposal of our Guests.
The National Park of Casentino is only 30 minutes drive away. Florence and Fiesole are both 7 kms away,Siena, Arezzo, Lucca are reached in 45 minutes by car. In the Village of Girone, 900 metres from the farm, the local bus for the Centre of Florence leaves approximately every 15 minutes. Free parking around the Farm and in the square of the Village, close the terminal of the bus.
Poggiopiano is also Biological Farm that produces two excellent Red Wine, a White Wine, Grapes and Biological Olive Oil.
Where we arePoggiopiano farm is situated on the slopes of the hills facing the Arno valley, in the proximity of
Florence. The vineyards and the olive orchards cover an area of 17 hectares, facing the sun, at an altitude of approximately 150 metres a.s.l.
