The old farmhouse next to the historical Villa where the inventor of the dynamo, Antonio Pacinotti, used to spend his holidays, will welcome you with its warm atmosphere of long ago.
You will be surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, farmed with biological methods, and will have the opportunity to hike in the woods, go sightseeing in the nearby town of Pistoia and visit other Tuscan art cities.
Respect for nature and the use of renewable, environment friendly sources of energy are our characteristic and our special pride is the quality of the organic olive oil we produce.

Surroundings
Villa Pacinotti è is located on Poggio Montecuccoli,
also the hilltop setting for the wonderful Romanesque
church of San Giovanni Evangelista
A medieval road that was once an important link between Tuscany and Emilia skirts the farmstead. By foot or by horseback it is still a useful route through oak and chestnut forests for reaching the Apennine ridge and the first leg of the Great Apennine Hiking, the GEA. . Tourists can also reach the same ridge by car in 15 to 20 minutes along the SP 24 and visit the Natural Biogenetic Reservation of Aquerino, or the charming villages of L'Acqua, Lentula, Monachino and pause in any of them for food and refreshment.
In the wood, rarely you meet people, but it is possible you meet unusual, nice animals.
At the foot of the farmstead lies the town of Pistoia wich provides beautiful Tuscan views by day, and even more spectacular views at night, when accompanied by the sound of crickets and the shimmer of glow-worms. Pistoia can be reached in a few minutws by car and offers interesting sights: a beautiful Piazza and Cathedral, the Cathedral
the octagonal Baptistry, the medieval Town Hall and Law Courts, with their fascinating courtyards, the ancient "Ospedale del Ceppo" decorated by Della Robbia tiles, the Sala market with medieval shops, the Pulpit by Giovanni Pisano in St Andrew's, and the Art Museum with sculptures by Marino Marini...
... Still other sight can be discovered simply by wandering along thr narrow, old streets and relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere of this quiet and comfortable town.
