The Masseria “La Stura” was built over the remains of a spiritual retreat used by the monks and nuns of the nearby town of Brindisi in the 15th century. The atmosphere is still nowadays filled with the evocative silence from those ancient times, making it the ideal setting for a peaceful vacation.

Only a few miles away from the Adriatic Sea, particularly the beautiful oasis of Torre Guaceto, over 4 miles of enchanting beaches and crystal water, La Stura is the ideal starting point for many wonderful excursions, including ones to the “White city” of Ostuni, only minutes away, the baroque buildings of Martina Franca, the Trulli from Alberobello, Cisternino and other “pearls” of the higher Salento region.
