In the middle of the characteristic Tuscan hills, inside the medieval county of San Miniato a Tedesco, "Casa Calvaiola" offers you relax and a feeling of well-being close to nature.
It is located in an old 18TH century hamlet, reorganised around year 1800 by the parish priest and agronomist Gian Battista Landeschi, who re-introduced in this area the ancient agricultural Tuscan methods. It inspired Carlo Lorenzini, said "Collodi", for the famous and world-wide known novel "PINOCCHIO".
The nearness with others medieval villages like San Gimingiano and Volterra, and the proximity with many Tuscan cities of art, like Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena make of "Casa Calvaiola" the best starting point for your tours.
