La Dolcianella is a Biological Farm with 22 hectares of land with wineyard, olive trees, fruits plants and a wood which is possible to walk a cross: it’s ideal for those who want to enjoy the peace of green Tuscany hills.
The Country Houses are the typical old Tuscany houses restored some years ago and consist of 7 rooms with private bathroom, encircled by a large park with beautiful trees and flowers, serving Bed and Breakfast. They are situated in the countryside outside Chiusi (few km far from highway exit and railway station), one of the capital of the etruscan state, where you can visit ancient necropolis (etruscan tombs) and the world-wide famous museum of etruscan relics.
From the top of the hills it’s possible to have a superb wiew of the Valdichiana valley, and small towns of the surrounding area from Chianciano with drinkable water, Cetona and the favolous Montepulciano (Medieval and Reinassance), then in few minutes it’s possible to reach other “jewels” of Tuscany like Pienza the perfect city of reinassance planned by Leon Battista Alberti by order op Pope Pius II; Bagno Vignoni a unique village with its rain square consisting of an ancient roman bath; Montalcino medieval village very famous for the wine “Brunello”; Citta’ della Pieve with frescos of Perugino and Cortona other importants etruscan city or San Casciano with hot spring or Trasimeno Lake with island reachble by ferry and many others village around. Then in one hour is possible to reach Rome or Florence and in 40 minutes Siena, Arezzo and Perugia by car or by train. Here you can taste our local products (like wine, oil, jams and biological fruits and vegetables) or have trekking or mountain bike tours around the hills of Chiusi until the lake and in the woods on the top of the hills between Tuscany and Umbria.
