The ancient Botruccio Farm is in Pomarance, in the heart of Tuscany, among verdant hills crossed by the river Cecina.

The agritourism’s guests have the opportunity to choose among diversified itineraries: it is possible to visit the ancient medieval villages secured upon woody hills; the ruins of the Romanic-Norman church and of the fortress of Sillano; the boraciferous soffioni and the Geothermal Museum.
The visit to the urban centre of Pomarance will also reveal itself interesting, with the church of the village embellished by paintings, and with the beautiful nineteenth-century buildings of via Roncalli.
Moreover, the nearby manège provides the opportunity to cover most of these itineraries by horse, fully savouring the smells and tastes of an almost untouched country-side.

Not to miss either, for those who love folklore, is the Palio delle Contrade which is held yearly on the second Sunday of September.
