Since 1990 Le Rene Co-op started its activity of farm holiday.
Its favourable geographic position (next to Pisa, Livorno and to the coast) and the inclusion of Coltano estate in the Migliarino San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Natural Park, along with the pleasant rustic style of the seventeen century structures restored by our company, has made the long-stay at Our holiday farm really appreciable.

Since Our Cooperative stands from the reuse of the agricultural and residential building, left in Coltano after the Second World War, a long-stay by Us means tasting the unique experience of living inside not only a farm, but within a whole rural village with its quiet living, its people, the activities of old Tuscanian tradition, perfectly preserved and highlighted as a very few other places in Tuscany.

A sojourn at our farm can benefit both from rural and cultural tradition (besides Pisa, all the principal cities of Art are easily reachable), but even relaxation, offered by the Garden Bar and its swimming pool or the enogastronomy provided by “Il Granaio” (The Barn). Your stay by Us may also be enriched by sport activities: You may have long walk or ride within the Mediterranean wood (mountain bike rent service available), practising minigolf, tennis table, fishing and horse-riding.

Since 1989 the Cooperative has created the Environmental Teaching Center aimed at making kids knowledgable of the environment and the history of the Migliarino San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Natural Park. The Center organizes all year long guided visits and naturalistic, agricultural, historic and food workshops. The participation to these activities is granted to Our guests previous booking. Structurally Our holiday farm is constituted by ten apartments, eight of which are included in the Mediceous farmstead, right next to the Mediceous Villa, one of the oldest building in Coltano; two in the Sabaudia’s farmhouse, an nineteenth century building, where you can enjoy all the peaceful atmosfere of the countryside.
