Farmhouse accommodation Calloria
“Calloria” offers high quality farmhouse accommodation in the barns and stables of a beautiful 13th century villa in the village of Scandicci. Scandicci is 185 metres above sea level and is surrounded by peaceful countryside and rolling hills, but is just seven kilometres from the historical centre of Florence.

Excursions along the 3 kilometres of paths, sign-posted by the Italian Alpine Association (CAI), in the Poggio Valicaia Natural Park, where there are volcanic lakes and picnic areas.
In Vingone, at 1,5 km, there is G.E.S (Gruppo Equitazione Scandicci) a Riding center.
In Tavarnuzze, 4 kilometres from Calloria, there is the Zodiac Tennis club and the Ugolino Golf club is just 10 kms away.
Restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias with typical Tuscan cooking are situated just down the road.
The out-of-town coach service (SITA) stop is 150 metres from the villa, and the local bus service (ATAF) 1 1/2 kms: departures are every 10 minutes, with a 20 min ride to Florence’s Santa Maria Novella Station. Parking is available near the bus stop.
Calloria is only 5 minute’s drive from the Firenze Certosa exit of the A1, Milan-Rome motorway.
