"Farnetino" is situated one kilometre away from the railway station and the center of Vicchio the birthplace of Giotto and Beato Angelico in the heart of Mugello, a green valley. It is 30 Km from Florence which can be reached by the train in 45 minutes, and 8 Km from the famous Ferrari race track. Vicchio has a good variety of shops, restaurants, tennis courts and a riding school.
The house forms part of a large working farm, with the nearby farm house still belonging to the owners who have orchards of fruit.
You can taste homemade pasta, wild boar , organic fruit, vegetables and chestnuts, and the hot bread just taked out of the antique oven. On request gluten-free cooking.
