Housing

The holiday farmhouse was created to promote the territory and rural areas already present on the farm.
For this purpose a few old tenants buildings of the 1950s were restructured trying to maintain their original structure.
The first of these buildings is situated near the vineyards and is composed of six apartments.
 
 
There are two types A + B.
Apartment type A: for 2 to 4 people. It is composed of 2 rooms; one is a spacious bedroom and the other a living room with a divan-bed and a functional kitchenette. The bathroom has a large bathtub and a shower.
Apartment type B: this is a large one-room apartment with a double bed, kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.
All the apartments are furnished with simple and essential wrought iron and wooden furniture.

Local products, Oil and Wine production/tasting

The nearness of the sea gives “Agrimare Barba” guests the possibility to choose among many sports and recreational activities. A swimming pool, a skating rink, a horse stable, tennis courts and archery are only a few km away. While who is willing to travel a little further away to Brecciarola (Chieti) will find one of the most modern golf courses in the south of Italy. It is also possible to take part in activities offered by bathing establishments situated along the coast. They can vary from swimming courses; to Latin American dance courses, beach volley, beach basket etc.
The holiday farm also offers the possibility to use some mountain bikes. For those interested in nightlife, the coastline is full of open-air discos and nightclubs, as well as different shows offered by the various bathing establishments.

Surroundings

The farmhouse is situated between Colle Morino vineyards and olive groves in the heart of the Barba brothers’ farm. It is one of the biggest and well known farms in the province of Teramo.The main products of the farm are vine growing and wine production, fruits and vegetables, livestock, olive oil and honey. It is possible to buy all of these products from the farm shops. Important sites on the farm are; the wine cellar (situated in front of the lodgings), the zootechny farm in Fontanelle, and the Colle Morino, Casal Thaulero and San Lorenzo vineyards.
