“Il Poggetto” is a farm estate located in the heart of Tuscany, in a hilly and panoramic area, only a few kilometres from San Gimignano with other old medieval towns a short distance away. The farm estate is easy to reach by car.
The estate is an ideal base to plan trips and excursions in the numerous resorts rich in art and history like Certaldo, Montaione, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa, Volterra, Florence and Sienna.
This small farm offers the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday in the Sienese hills, surrounded by Chianti vineyards (with controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin), old olive groves, age-old oak trees, woods and farmyard animals. The apartments in the old farm buildings have recently been restored. They have independent heating and air-conditioning.
The owner lives in part of the farmhouse, which is not accessible by the guests, and operates in the agricultural field. Adjacent to the farmhouse there is an open gallery for enjoying breakfast, equipped with oven and barbecue, outdoor games for children and a large lawn with swimming pool, from which you can admire the beautiful old town of San Gimignano.
