Don’t miss this unique and relaxing opportunity to travel back in time with Astapiana Villa Giusso!
As you walk through the stone archway into the main courtyard you will feel you have stepped back in time - that round the ancient columns the prayers of the monks still hang in the air…Three years ago we embarked upon a great challenge: the resurrection of this historical place.
Now we wait for you to share our enjoyment of this beautiful and fascinating site and to participate in our dream…
You can relax on the incredible stone terrace overlooking th Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, take a walk through the grapes vineyards and olive groves or simply take a look around the many wonderful amenities of the Monastery.
Though not for everyone, Villa Giusso is nonetheless fascinating and intriguing. Off the one long corridor, are three double bedded room and one family suite, appointed with worn period furniture. All rooms have access to a private bathroom newly renovated.

Housing
The bedrooms are or in the main foresteria or in the monks' abodes.
In the main foresteria, the bigger building, where in the past monks gived hospitality to travellers, the bedrooms are fascinating with original iron-beds and 8th century furnishings.
The monks' abodes are the ancient cells, newly restored: each cell is like a cottage or little dependence and is composed by two double bedrooms each with bathroom: "L'Immacolata" composed by San Michele bedroom and Sant'Olimpia bedroom and "L'Annunciata" composed by San Cesare bedroom and the fresco bedroom.
The bedrooms are charming and have a valuable modern advantage "the heating".
In the main Foresteria, off the one long corridor, you can also find:
- a junior suite: the Contessa suite, a charming living room with fireplace and a very nice bedroom with bathroom en suite;
- a family suite suitable for 4-5 persons, with two bedrooms and a large bathroom (bath): there is first a very large double bedroom ( king size) and a third bed, then a little corridor and on the left the second double room (twins beds) and on the right the bathroom;
- the Green's bedroom- the Lady's bedroom
- the yellow bedroom
At your disposal, for one week self-catering accommodation, the all monks'cell "Annunciata". Ideal solution for four people, with two bedrooms, one double and one twins, each with bathroom en suite, with a useful kitchenette.
