Palistro valley is situated in Cilento National Park, founded by law of 1994 on protected zones; it declines towards the sea of Velia, on the western slope of Gelbison Mountain (1700 mt). The rnildness of climate due to the neighbouring sea (5 km) represent one of the best guarantees for healthy stays.
In this valley, with rich scenery of fields, trees, woods, bushes, an old farmhouse completely restructured, has been transformed into a delicious country hotel.
The restaurant offers typical good dishes of Mediterranean kitchen; these meals are made with products provided by the farm (oil, meats, salt pork, vegetables, cheese and fruit, marmalade, bread and hand made biscuits) all enriched, with a great distinction of manner hospitality and sympathy of landlords. The gests may go on horse (5 Km), mountain bike or trekking and walking along pathways on the banks of Palistro River. All that is possible at a few kilometres from famous places, rich of art and history: Velia, Paestum, Pompei and Palinuro.
The six double rooms with private bathroom, the farm camping for caravans and tents, offer quiet and comfortable stays due also to a wonderful view on the lands crossed by the Palistro river.
The farm holidays "La Petrosa" is composed of a central building and a camping area, as well as five apartrnent and rooms in an old castle of 800 for bed and breakfast. The building of farm holidays centre, situated in Ceraso locality Petrosa, dates back to '700 and is made up of two floors. At the first floor there are two spacious vault premises what in past times have know the fragrance and gurgles of wine in fermentation, in fact this locality on the map of I.G.M. is referred as "Vineyard of the courtyard", today used for storehouse of forage, maize and wheat in grains. The present use is for holidays farm at the first floor of the same building while a small of hay exhales from the lower floor.
The central building offers six double rooms with bathroom and balcony, show-room for the sale of farm product5. The Palistro river, crossing farm, with trees of willows, poplars, eucalyptus and some oriental planes (botanic rarity) , characterize camping area for halting-place of caravans and tents (six emplacements); Camping area is provided with two groups of bathrooms provided with six showers, eight w. c., four wash-tubs and eight wash-basins, all obtained by silos used for forage warehouse a time ago.

Our typical dishes change with the seasons because they are all rich of fresh vegetables cultivated in our kitchen garden biologically.
Our cooking, strongly personalized, suggests local dishes making the most of Mediterranean tastes:
bread, past, cold cuts, cakes, Italian soft ice-cream, sweets, all made from flours of hard and tender wheat produced by the farm and served with the small of our extra-virgin olive-oil.
The variety of the pasta made at home is very large because it is seasoned and personalized by several sauces of meat and seasonal vegetable. We give articular attention to appetizing and greedy handling.
The pumpkin, for example, is the queen of our tables that we offer, for the most part of year , roasted, sauced in vinegar with noodles, tortelli, rondelle, all combined variously and much appreciated.
