The Cà Balbi farmhouse is situated between Faenza and Brisighella, in the heart of Romagna, a region full of traditions, culture, and joie de vivre.
Faenza is famous worldwide as the home of ceramics and hosts one of the world’s most famous ceramic museums (MIC). Faenza’s historical centre is scattered with Renaissance architecture, traditional ceramics workshops, the neoclassical Palazzo Milzetti, and the Carlo Zauli Museum, a landmark for the promotion and diffusion of contemporary art from Faenza.
Brisighella is one of the most fascinating medieval villages in Italy, an important thermal spot, and it hosts the typical medieval festival in summer.
The farmhouse is in an ideal position to experience wine and food itineraries in the surrounding hills and to explore the natural beauties of the nearby Apennines. Starting from the Carnè Natural Park you can enjoy bicycle excursions or horse riding through enchanting landscapes.
Faenza is also a good starting point for daily excursions to artistic cities such as Ravenna, Bologna, San Marino, Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna and San Leo. Florence is only a couple of hours away and you can take the panoramic train that drives through the Apennines.
The seaside and its amusement parks (Mirabilandia, Aquafan) are less than 50 km away.
For Golf enthusiasts, Cà Balbi is close to the Golf Clubs of Faenza, Riolo Terme and Cervia.
