The farm Il Podere is situated near the Cesane Mountains in a valley totally cultivated with organically. The farm was born in 1990 from Paolo’s and Aurora’s wish to live their lives enjoing the changing of season on their 30 hectares of land which is partly woodland.
The farm produces cereals, wine, oil and it stands out for its organic honey production. Bees are Paolo’s real passion, from two hives, received as a present from his uncle when he was 15; he has now 200 hives, whilst Aurora rears chickens, geese, turkeys and pigeons. You can visit the hives and animals.

In 2004 the whole family decided to restore the cottage made of bricks, keeping the original characteristics. He made one flat and three rooms situated on two floors with independent entrances for a total of eight beds. Il Podere is the ideal place for who searches calm and relax and the old agricultural life-style. The farm supplies mountain bikes for hire if required.

Housing

The flat are very comfortable, they have all comforts and a magnificent view on the nearly hills. Our rooms double and single ones are available, all situated in two floors with independent entrances. The style and furniture takes from simplicity of the agricultural tradition of living.

The flat has one double bedroom with the possibility to add a bad children size, one single room with the possibility to add a bed, an equipped kitchen and a wide bathroom.

In our valley we produce a high quality honey. Honey is suitable for baby’s diets and perfect for adult's breakfast. The unpolluted area and its garden of many flowers produces sweet honey. A genuine, healthy nourishment, for everyday diets, honey must be tried together with tasty and seasoned cheers.

The farm supplies mountain bikes for hire if required.

Surroundings

The farm Il Podere is immersed in nature, near the wood of Monti delle Cesane, not far from medieval villages rich of history and ancient culture and beautiful places in which the nature uncontaminated.

15 km far there is Urbino, one of the most ancient medieval cities and centre of the famous Univesity of Urbino.

Just 10 km away, Gola del Furlo, can be found immersed in natural beauty in a unspoilt oasis which you must explore.

There’s also Isola del Piano, a lively villane rich of story and events.

There are also many paths for trekking and mountain bike, for expert and for beginners.
