Fosso del Lupo is the ideal place for a peaceful holiday in comfortable well-furnished apartments (TV is available but only on request – you’ll probably prefer to enjoy the silence of the countryside!) The recently restored large 19th-century farmhouse nestles in the hills near Urbino, surrounded by organically farmed fields in a stunning landscape with views as far as the sea.

Fosso del Lupo is named after the stream separating the communal territory of Urbino from that of Isola del Piano. The farm had been completely abandoned until 1980, when Daniele and Ornella decided to move back to the country and began to restore the house, sow the fields and plant trees. Today a large family lives on the farm which offers accommodation to around ten people in three self-contained apartments plus two rooms with in-suite bathrooms.

The accommodation consists of 3 self-contained apartments plus 2 bedrooms with bathrooms.

Monolocale: (for 2 persons ) 40 sq. m., double bed , sofa , bathroom (bath + washing machine), kitchen (stove, gas , pots, crockery ).

Grande: (for 6 persons ) 85,2 sq. m., rooms with 2 beds + living room with 2 beds , 2 bathroom (bath + washing machine ), kitchen ( stove , gas , pots , fridge, ecc.).

Piccolo: (for 4 persons ) 70sq. m., room with 2 beds + bathroom (bath + washing machine ), kitchen ( stove, gas , pots , fridge , ecc.).

Rooms: (for 4 persons )30 sq. m., double bed , 2 single beds, bathroom, fridge.

The apartments are fully equipped with cooking facilities for self-catering, while only ten minutes by car there are three restaurants, a pizzeria and organic food shop.

The grounds include spacious lawns with tables and benches, a swimming pool (12 x 6 m), a small natural lake and a play area for children.

 
Surroundings

Going for walks is particularly pleasant because our farm is in the middle of the Cesane (the Urbino hills) which have several sign-posted itineraries.

For anyone wishing to explore further afield in the Marche region we can suggest some fascinating routes. In less than half and hour by car, you can visit Urbino, the Raffaello spa, the Furlo Gorge and the Adriatic coast. Just a little further away are Urbania, San Marino, San Leo, Fontavellana monastery, Gubbio and the Frasassi caves.
