The Brattoni Farmhouse lies in the green countryside of Gallura where it’s possible to spend wonderful holidays in the peaceful of the country or to reach in few minutes the most beautiful beaches of North Sardinia and the most famous and exclusive touristic places such as Porto Cervo, but you can also go for long walks in contact with the nature to discover wonderful landscapes and many archaelogical sites which surround the area.

The farmhouse built in the ancient “stazzu”dating back to 800', the typical Gallura countryhouse, lies in a farm of 50 ectares dominated by a rich mediterranean maquis with its typical shrubs such as juniper and oaks surrounded by granitic mountains.

In the green pastures bovine breeding is the main activity practised in the farm by generations, on particulary the race of cattle breeded is the “limousine”, a french race known for its meat quality. The animals live in the pastures nourished only by earth’s products such as grass in winter and hay in summer.
The Brattoni Farmhouse offers to its guess the possibility to discover the countryside, in fact the most appreciate activity from our guess is to take part in daily farm’s duties doing a trip by tractor and giving food to cows and calfs.

Housing

The farmhouse is composed of a living room that can accomodate until twenty people and of eight double and triple bedrooms, all with air conditioning and with bathroom.
Living room, which offers a wonderful view over the valley, is a big common area nicely furnished with utensils and antique furniture original from the stazzu to recreate an atmosphere rich in history and charm.
And 'here that morning our guests enjoy our rich and irresistible breakfasts prepared with fresh ingredients like our yogurt, jams, honey, fragrant biscuits and homemade cakes and pies.
And after a day of sun and sea, you can sit and chat in the cool evening over a glass of myrtle under the starry sky or read, watch TV, play cards and practise all hobbies which citylife doesn’t permit.
During the night our guests can sleep, lulled by the calm and silence of the countryside, in our new built rooms, that have indipendent entrance and are very spacious and well furnished.
Two rooms are suitable for handicaped people.

Surroundings

We are in Gallura, a beautiful region of northern Sardinia, which offers many attractive for tourists, the emerald sea, the sandy beaches, the countryside always green, the ruins of ancient times.

Thanks to its strategic position it’s possible to achieve the sea in few minutes where you can practise many activities such as: sailing, windsurf, kitesurf, swimming, diving, snorkelling, fishing, but you can also go on a cruise to the Marine Reserve of the Arcipelago of La Maddalena.
A few kilometers it’s possible to practise every kind of sports such as: riding, tennis, football, go-kart, golf, visiting archaelogical sites or Garibaldi’s Museum.
You can partecipate to country celebrations, visit wonderful beaches and if you want to partecipate to the night life, nothing better than Costa Smeralda with its fashionable discos and restaurants.
