Your lodging, whatever you choose, is situated on a lovely hillside surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, caressed by summer breezes at sundown. Ours style is country, both in the furniture and in the materials used in restoration; we don’t have air conditioning because the thickness of the old walls creates a pleasantly cool temperature even during the hottest months; all windows have screens; the bathrooms are large and all have windows; the suites and the apartments have a fireplace, which creates a unique atmosphere… Each living area has its own entrance, either immediately in front or a few meters away in the garden, as well as a patio with table and chairs to read, eat or simply enjoy the countryside.

We've created lots of "mini-spaces" in our large garden with chairs, lounge chairs and tables, where everyone can create his or her own little corner to relax surrounded by the perfume of roses and aromatic plants and enjoy our silence and beautiful panorama

Surroundings

The farm house is situated in the very heart of the Chianti area, between the beautiful city of Siena and the famous medieval fortress of Monteriggioni, nestled in one of the world's most fascinating country sides. Like an oasis in the Chianti hills, its strategic position allows you to easily reach such important Tuscan artistic centres as Siena, reachable in 10 minutes, Monteriggioni, Castellina in Chianti, Colle val d'Elsa only 15 minutes far, San Gimignano, Volterra, Asciano, San Galgano, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino that are half hour far such as Firenze and Arezzo are one hour far… all suitable on one day tour. It is possible to receive all the useful information about these places and to be contacted by professional guides that will accompany you into specific tours.

Both in summer and in winter, a visit to the Spa in the little village Rapolano Terme is recommended: the large hot and cold pools, the Turkish bath, the Jacuzzis and various treatments really can't be missed by anyone who wants to relax and tone up in these long-established hot springs that offer so much well-being - and all only half an hour's drive away.

If you prefer a more “naturalistic” holidays you could, beside your relaxing in the panoramic pool and in the garden filled of roses, fruits and herbs, fruits, start from there and walk all around vineyards. If you are sportive the farmhouse can put you in contact with trekking guides, horseback rides lasting from a few hours,  or play tennis. In the town of Colle val d'Elsa (about 20 kilometres) you'll find a small golf course.
