Il "Sasso" is a little rural village immersed in the wonderfull Tuscan landscape between the charming Tevere valley and the Sovara one, only 3 Km far from the medioeval centre of Anghiari, famous for the omonymous battle, which inspired Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece "The Battle Of Anghiari".

The ancient farmhouse built in stone, recently restorated on respect of the local tradition has very confortable rooms, all completed with private services.
On the groun floor we can find a big hall whit old fireplace and a little stone one where it is possible to taste typical tuscan traditional dishes all prepared by the house owner exclusively for our guests, using only our product.

Close to the main agricultural building, a former granary has been transformed in 2 confortable apartments and 2 rooms, all with an indipendent entrance. The excellent and genuine cooking will make your stay wonderfull and unforgrttable, in a such natural, artistic and spiritual land.

 
Housing
Inside the farmhouse are at our guest disposal a reading hall, a big hall with a big fireplace, tv and a lot of parlour games. On reservation is possible to have a lightcandle dinner in the little stone hall, with typical tuscan dishes, prepared only for our guest by the house owner using only our products. Outside, the old threshing floor, is now disposed as a garden, completed of a playng area for the kids.

"Il Sasso" village is sourranded by sunflowers and wheat fields, orchards, olive grooves, vineyards and a little oakwood including a Pic nic area in wich is possible to have relaxing walk or meet our horses: Pegaso, Stella, Pascal. A panoramicsolarium shows the green Sovara Valley.

For the sport lovers are available mountainbikes and less than 2 km far a full equipped sport center with 2 swimming pools, 1 gymn and a tennis court, soccer and beach volley grounds is also possible to organize fine rideat the near manege (6 km), exursions on mountainbike or trekking contacting "Il Circolo degli esploratori" in Sasepolcro.

"Il Sasso" is placed in a very strategic position, really near to all the most important city of Umbria and Toscana: Firenze (km 100), Siena (km 85), Arezzo (km 24), Perugia (km 60), Assisi (km 75), Gubbio (km 60); It also possible to visit the Adriatic coast in only an hour trip (Mirabilandia). Really near to our village is also possible to visit very charming and cultural lands!
