Housing

Seat of our cellar untill '90, the structure has been restored in 2000-01 trying to re-use the same original material (chestnut tree for the beam, brick for the floor ....) and to maintain uncharged as much as possible (for example the aia "threshing floor" where in the past our grandparents bitted beans).
We furnish the apartments with our grandparents furniture as much as possible. In every apartment you will find an old chest of drawers, an old cupboard or old bedside cupboard with marble, that we discovered in the garret and restored. The furniture has been completed with other things all in perfect traditional tuscan style (arte povera).

Every apartment has a kitchen and is furnished with everything you could possibly need (dishes, pots, ...), you can find traditional or microwave oven.
All the bedrooms are doubles, but can be divided into two twin beds on request. All bathrooms are fitted with a shower and every apartment has its own telephone and sat TV.

All the ground floor apartments and one on the first floor have a private area outside, the others have, at their disposal, furnished areas under a gazebo in the garden and in the aia (the old threshing floor).

In the Park (5.000 m) you will find a swimming pool, solarium, gazebo; moreover you will have at your disposal 20 hectares of our farm. In fact the Agritourism is surrounded by our Chianti vineyards and our olive trees.

Our guests have at their disposal a free private car park, barbeque, ping pong, laundry room and are invited to pick their own vegetables from the kitchen garden.

Other amenities available at additional cost include: mountain-bikes, pool towels, use of the washing machine, use of internet, heating (May/October), shatsu massage.

We could organize Paint in Fresco, Ceramic Decoration, Water Painting, Papier Machè

Surroundings

The Agritourism La Colombaia is located 1.5 km from Cerreto Guidi and 3 km from Vinci, surrounded by valleys with vineyards and olive groves (mostly owned by us). Florence is 30 minutes, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Pistoia are all reachable in less than an hour.
