Accommodation at I Greppi di Silli agritourism comprises five large apartments created by converting a small and very old hamlet with a wonderful view over vineyards, olive groves and oak woods. The barns and old farmhouses have been carefully restored and brought back to life with a respect for their original rural characteristics. Each apartment has its own private entrance with a large external area furnished with tables, chairs and beach-umbrellas.

The most appreciated and much enjoyed event for guests at I Greppi di Silli is the welcome dinner organized by the Alfani family early on each week, a pleasant opportunity for spending time together and savouring traditional dishes accompanied by bottles of prized Chianti Classico wines.
Each week there are guided tours of the farm’s activities and the local cooperative wine cellar at Castelli del Grevepesa, where interesting guided wine and olive oil tasting sessions can end the tour.

The peacefulness of the hamlet and the surrounding countryside offer hours of total relaxation, but more industrious guests who feel an affinity for the agricultural life can get to know the techniques employed in the cultivation of grapes and olives, as well as learn the various phases of their transformation, during a guided visit to the Castelli del Grevepesa cellar with which the farm has been associated since 1965, the year it was set up. This is where our grapes, grown with devotion in the vineyards and picked by hand in the traditional way, become prized bottles of Chianti Classico wine.

The production and sale of extra virgin olive oil are directly undertaken by the farm: the olives, hand picked from the plants (brucatura), are cold-pressed whole to give a fruity flavour and intense aroma, excellent for seasoning our traditional dishes.
At I Greppi di Silli there are many surprises to help you rediscover the pleasures of the simple country life: the enjoyment of a homemade cake, the delight in a bottle of wine, the goodness of a basket of fresh fruit and the beauty of wildflowers, the loveliest symbol of a world where nature still occupies first place.

Situated only 5 km from San Casciano Val di Pesa and 12 km from Greve in Chianti, the agritourism farm I Greppi di Silli is in an excellent position for discovering the lands of Gallo Nera Chianti Classico wines, full of small medieval villages, country churches, farms and castles.
Within easy reach of Tuscany’s green heart are all its most beautiful cities: Florence is only 20 km away, Siena, 46 km via San Gimignano, and many other exquisite locations (Volterra, Monterrigioni, Montalcino etc.) are scattered about the area.
