This beautiful country villa is a perfect location for a family holiday and to gather some friends in the romantic and charming country of Tucany. .
Set on a typical and smooth hill of this area, ha s a 360° view overlooking the medieval castle of Fighine, the skyline of Città della Pieve and Mount Cetona.
The original part of the building, built during the Republic of Siena, to control the borders is a former medieval watch-out tower.
This villa has been restored and decorated by my husband Francesco and me in 2009. As we particularly love this property, we put love and passion in every detail, hoping to give our guests un unforgettable holiday in Tuscany.

Location:
Country-side - 5 km from the medieval hamlet of San Casciano dei Bagni, in the south part of the province of Siena.
It is half way between Roma and Florence, Motorway A1. Exits: Chiusi/Chianciano if coming from Florence and Fabro if coming from Rome. Distance from motorway: 30 km.
San Casciano dei Bagni area offers very good restaurants, shops, two banks, post office and pharmacy.
Also there is very a well known spa resort., Fonteverde.
Our guests have special coupons to for Day Spa treatments and thermal pool entrance.

Montefreddo di Mezzo is a delightful apartment in the little country hamlet of Montefreddo (XVII century), with a beautiful view on the Val di Chiana and on the Umbrian hills, where you may see the skyline of Città della Pieve. The interior is spacious and bright, with cotto tiles on the floor and white painted wooden beans on the roof.
The apartment has a little private garden where you may enjoy the beauty of the country.
As the apartment is in a little hamlet, it is and ideal place for those who likes the countryside, but dislike being secluded. All the windows have screens.
The apartment, suitable for 6 people, has 3 double bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom.

is a farmhouse set on a hill overlooking a gently and unspoiled landscape of Tuscany
The scene of the mount Amiata beyond the hills offers spectacular colourful sunsets.

1st floor: 2 double and 2 twins bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite), All bedrooms have screens at the windows.
Provided: washing machine and dish washer. Baby crib and high chair available upon request.
Pets are welcome upon request, by separate payment

Apartment for 2 to 4 people
is all at Ground Floor, wheel chairs accessible.
1 double and 1 twins bed-room, 2 bathrooms, living room with kitchenette. All bedrooms have screens at the windows.
Little stairs lead to un upper family sitting room with tv.
Baby crib and high chair available upon request.

GARDEN: pleasant and fresh, with a beautiful views. Each apartments has its own pergola for dining at fresco.

Maid Service , 2 days per week. For 2 or more weeks stay, cleaning and linen change on Saturday.

San Giacomo has an ideal position to visit the south part of Tuscany (Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino), with some of the main towns such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Umbria Region (Città della Pieve, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi).
The main train station is in Chiusi (25 km), where it also possible to rent a car.

Azienda Acerona is situated near the village San Casciano dei Bagni, set in a marvellous natural contest of the southern part of Tuscany, surrounded by beautiful oak woods and with a breathtaking view on the rolling hills.
It is built around the Palazzo Bologna, a neo-gothic castle, and the church of San Leonardo, with its characteristic bell tower.
The narrow and winding streets often offer the surprise to end up on an beautiful view over the stunning landscape and towards Monte Cetona and Monte Amiata, changing their image depending on the daytime and season.
San Casciano dei Bagni has been known since the Etruscan and Roman times for its hot springs from where gush out a warm therapeutic water and offers today a very good gourmet restaurant with outside terrace, a pizzeria, a bar and various good shops
