This ancient farmhouse, now carefully renovated, is divided into nine comfortable double rooms where the charming atmosphere of past times is perfectly blended with modern facilities.

Room “ Albicocca”
This first-floor double bedroom retains many original features of the traditional Tuscan style, with terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings. From its windows guests can enjoy lovely views of the medieval towers of San Gimignano. An extra bed can be added on request.

Room “Fiordaliso”
This first-floor double bedroom, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, is painted in the colour of this precious flower, now almost extinct. It enjoys a lovely view of the swimming pool and of surrounding gentle hills.

Room “Girasole”
This room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, is on the first floor and it is named after the sunflower, an icon of Tuscany. The room enjoys lovely views of the garden and of the swimming pool.

Room “Focolare”
This first-floor room is really exclusive, and boasts a large ancient rural Tuscan fireplace. It has beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, and enjoys a lovely view over the paved terrace and the surrounding countryside.

Room “Lillà”

Room "Rosa antica"
This first-floor room is named after the beautiful rose garden that can be enjoyed from the swimming pool sun terrace. It has beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, and overlooks the surrounding hills, that according to the season and to the light effects offer attracting shades of colours.

Room “ Salvia”

At Agriturismo La Lucciolaia the attentive owner, Sabrina Niccolai, has wisely blended history and tradition with a necessary modernization of the producing facilities. Here you will find:

Guided wine tasting held in the tasting room at the Estate Cellars, at Azienda Agricola Palagetto, approx. 8km from La Lucciolaia;

Guided tours of the producing farm, including the wine cellar and the estate mill;

In the vicinity of the medieval centre of San Gimignano, nestled in the rolling hills of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, Agriturismo La Lucciolaia is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany’s most prized art towns such as Siena (30Km), Florence (35Km), and Volterra (25Km).

For guests willing to discover Tuscany, the position of Agriturismo La Lucciolaia is the best of two worlds: the most prized medieval art towns – such as Siena, Colle di Val d’Elsa, Monteriggioni – can be visited on a day trip. Florence, with its Renaissance treasures, is also easily accessible, whilst the Tuscany coast can be reached in less than 1 hour by car.
