Travelling from Gubbio to Valle Verde you pass trought Gola del Bottacione, a geological site of world renown which has made it possible for scientists to study astronomical, climatic and paleontological events from as far back as 65 milion years ago.
 
At a very short distance away are Monte Cucco and Monte Calvo which are ideal launching spots for hangliders. Valle Verde is an ideal point from which to sett off in discovery of Umbria and the Marche, regions on pathways of  history, art, nature and spirituality.

Surroundings

In an enchating Umbrian valley close to the Appenines there is Valle Verde, a restored old house located in the centre of a 200 hectare "biologic" farm, at 700 metre sea level.

Guests can live close to nature covering trekking and mountain-bike routes in the charming woods which are teeming with wildlife truffles and wild mushrooms. Valle Verde is situated at 7 Km from Gubbio, one of the best preserved medieval town which keeps its past on its medieval streets, in its precious palaces, in its works of art and its old workshop.
