Housing

The guest apartments have been exquisitely restored with handsome woodwork, cabinetry and simple, yet elegant, furnishings.

All apartments have bath, kitchen and fireplace, as well as telephone and TV. There is also an apartment designed to accommodate guests with physical handicaps.

The accommodation includes large, well-equipped kitchens to make guests feel at home.
All services are new, hygienic and in excellent working order.

The bedrooms are welcoming with cast iron beds and furnished with antiques in chestnut wood. As a curiosity, in one of the houses there used to be an elementary school where the grandmother, Rachele Ferranti, once taught.
The houses are built in stone with thick walls, keeping them very cool during the hot summer days. All apartments feature beamed ceilings, fireplaces, wooden furniture and stairways making them comfortable even during the winter when one can relax in front of warm fire and prepare special Umbrian dishes grilled on the hot coals.

The Monte Acuto farm, set in the peace of nature, is very accessible to the historic cities of Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, and to the splendours of Lake Trasimeno; it is located mid-way between Rome and Florence.
For lovers of sport and natural pursuits one can find paths for trekking, mountain-biking and walking in the grounds of the farm. Other facilities available for guests include: archery, table tennis, billiards, a children's play area, laundry room and brick-built barbecue.

And whether you crave history or nature (or both), when you return to Monte Acuto you'll find the swimming pool an ideal place to cool off and relax.

At breakfast time guests partake of fresh pastries and tarts baked by Sandra in the Ferranti family kitchen.

The biologically-certified Ferranti farm also produces its own olive oil and honey.

Surroundings

Completely immersed in the countryside one has the possibility to admire hawks in flight and other wildlife which live in the protected area of Monte Acuto that surrounds the farm, to admire the wonderful panorama and enjoy a small oasis of peace and tranquillity.
