At Le Torreselle no ingredient is lacking to transform a healthy ‘country’ rest into a memorable weekend or week’s stay. But this is not all. In addition to the characteristic ingredients of a week in the country, the Isola Vicentina estate has an extra, unusual appeal that offers its guests a taste of more distant and exotic lands.  

This is due to the taste and wishes of the owners, enthusiastic travellers, who have brought back from their visits to the most authentic and hidden corners of the world, mementos, souvenirs and objects that are perfectly at home with the style of their hospitable home.

So the names of the few bright rooms that open onto a gentle green hollow, and the types of furnishings bear some of the spirit of those far off lands: Rajistan, Mexico, the South Seas, Jordan, Arizona… each capable of evoking other memories and arousing curiosity for what awaits us over the horizon.
Everywhere at Le Torreselle, furniture, pictures, fabrics and precious ethnic accessories, images like segments of art and nature, make up the history and stories that interweave with the peaceful country life of cultivated fields, orchards, farmyard animals and fireside chats.

The typical dishes of the Vicentine cuisine, simple but never unimaginative, the sparkling air, good wine, the emotion derived from a panoramic view of the plain, and then kilometres of excursions on foot, by bike or on horseback through woodland on the mountain foothills from the narrow track through the gardens, or longer expeditions suited to even the most demanding of riders who can cope with hours in the saddle through ever-changing landscape.

Meanwhile grazing horses await new friends to bring warmth and muscles to an adventure along well-kept tracks leading to the mountains at Schio or Recoaro, the Thiene countryside, the castles of Montecchio or to Lake Fimon, to the banks of streams and the ridge of an endless range of hills – secluded yet accessible routes that take us from the everyday streets to the pathways of dreams.

BUILDING: An inn comprising 6 guest rooms all with private bathrooms, restaurant seating 40, splendid view over the valley.

ACTIVITIES: Stables with 18 Quarter Horse breed horses, Western style saddle. I hour trail rides or 2/3 day trekking. Marked paths and country trails for walking or cycling through woodland and among the hills. Night-time horseback riding.
