Podere Pietreta means living an experience of an oasis in the heart of Tuscany, plunged in the green of Val d’Orcia.

Val d’Orcia rappresents a precious oenological and gastronomical destination: it is situated in the heart of the classic Chianti and the Montepulciano Doc and is the land of pici, of pasture meat, of mushroom’s from local woods, of delicious cheeses, result of the competition between local traditions and the recent introduction of Sardinian sheep farming….
During the whole year several demonstrations of historic folklore are held, with typical products feasts, art and craft trade fairs, cultural events, musical and theatrical performances.

Podere Pietreta is a big XVIII th century stone hamlet, recently restored to its past taste by means of meticulous and passionated care for conservation of architectonic details and use of original materials.
An hectar wide park surrounds the estate, including a panoramic swimming pool (6x12 mt), a barbecue, a parking space and a lovely view.
Podere Pietreta is the ideal point of departure for short excursions (30/60 minutes) towards some of the most attracting localities of Tuscany: Radicofani, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Sarteano, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chiusi, Cetona, San Casciano Bagni, Arezzo….
In 20 minutes you can arrive to the woods of Monte Amiata, Umbria is at halfhour drive.
Another absolutely exceptional characteristic is the presence, at no longer than 30 minutes, of numerous thermal establishments of which the most famous: the Terme di San Casciano, the thermal swimmings pool of Sarteano, Bagni San Filippo, and the Chianciano hydrothermal establishments etc.
