The farm has a car park, a swimming-pool (with umbrella, gazebo, sun beds and deck chairs), table tennis and bowls/pétanque. Facilities are free and only for the Farm guests.
Tennis can be arranged for a small charge 2km away on synthetic court, in Vescovado di Murlo.
Riding Centres 10km away, in Viamaggio, with possibility of trekking, to arranged directly with the managers of the riding schools.
Golf courses in the neighbourhood are in Siena, Sovicille, Colle Val d'Elsa (between 25-50km away).
A swim in the sea is little more than an hour by car as Marina di Grosseto, the beach nearest to the Farm, is at less than 80km away; a little bit farther are the famous localities of Castiglion della Pescaia and Punta Ala. Other recommended sea excursions are those to the Natural Park of Uccellina (80km) and to the promontory of Argentario (110km).
Also a boat trip on the lake is within reach as lake Trasimeno is only 70km away.
The nature around the Farm offers a lot of possibility of easy walks or real trekking, to discover the small lake of Acquabuona (ex mines of lignite), the old mills, the Conventaccio, the didactic journey of the ancient coal railway, etc. It is also easy to reach on foot the medieval village of Murlo, former residence of the Bishop of Siena, from whose main gate itis possible to enjoy a fantastic view overall of the Farm.
The visit is really enjoyable and, also thanks to the excellent restoration, you can fully appreciate its atmosphere before entering the Etruscan Museum, recently restored and enlarged, where objects from the life of this ancient people are on view.
In the summer a "Medieval Festa" with historic costumes (June) and various other events are organised.
The farm produces an excellent extra-virgin olive oil extracted from olives cultivated lovingly, picked by hand and ground quickly; excellent to taste with bruschetta, pasta e fagioli, tagliolini e ceci.
The neighbourhood, with typical restaurants and pizzerie of various levels, offers very good possibilities to taste local food such as zuppa di pane (bread soup), pici o pinci (thick spaghetti hand made, seasoned all'aglione or with game's sauces), steak, fegatelli (pig's liver), canapè of liver and spleen, Tuscan salted pork meats, stew wild boar, ciaccino, sheep's milk cheese with honey, cantuccini with Vin Santo, ricciarelli; all "washed down" with Brunello and Red Wine of Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano, Chianti dei Colli Senesi and Chianti Classico.
