Welcome to "Podere Schioppello": maybe an ancient shelter for Knights and Pilgrims, maybe an heremitage, maybe a place of meditation and prayer, maybe a little of all that...nowadays a very unique place.
When, at dawn, sun rises and the perfumes of the Umbrian countryside spread into the rooms of the apartments; when, in daylight, silence and peace lead to the most intense and private relax, perhaps near the swimming-pool; when, in the evening, frogs and cicades wish good nigths; when, finally, one must regenerate, forget the stress and find peace.
The farm is located on one of the soft hills of olive and pure secular woods, near medieval and charming villages such as Cibottola, St. Apollinare, Spina, Monte Vibiano.
The structure is composed of a big-stone farmhouse, on the road from Mercatello to Cibottola, with a spacious-surrounding space and a splendid view of Perugia and Assise.
"Podere Schioppello" has the hard intention of making art and nature living together; in fac, it is possible to be transported to a relaxing and quite life, enjoing the marvellous Umbrian countryside and the artistic-cultural improvisations offered to the guests during their stay.
Concerts, small theatrical performances, artistic exhibitions about sculpture, paintings, photography will take place in our common areas.
