Il Vecchio Pozzo agriturism was born in 1998 within the Santa Maria organic farm. The farm house, formely identified in the oldest maps with the name of Il Fitto, overlooks the surrounding 50 hectares of land destined to extensive crops such as wheat and sunflowers; a kitchen-garden, and a space for curtyard animals such as donkeys, hens and geese.

Where we are
Val di Cornia is an area with traditions and a magic history. The Rimigliano Park, the Fairy's Hole (Buca delle Fate), the Baratti Gulf and the Follonica Gulf with their large pinewoods offer sandy beaches and rocks for diving with the certainty of a wonderful clean sea bed.

For trekking lovers it is possible to go for walds in the surrondings woods and hills with many marked paths. The neighboring medieval villages of Campilglia Marittima and Suvereto are suggestive especially by night and rich of typical products to taste; at laste, San Vincenzo or the cities Piombino and Follonica are attractive for young people thanks to their numerous pubs, cinemas and discotheques.
