Typical products to purchase: olive oil, wine, salami made from "cinta senese" a rare race of pigs reared on the farm, meat from the chianina breed, legumes, jams and honey.
Casa Frati farmhouse offers a wide variety of organic foods personally grown by the Cappelli family. If they wish, guests can take part in the activities of the farmhouse.
Products can be bought directly from the farm. It is also possible to have meals on the farm: the traditional cuisine includes a large variety of dishes of good quality, typical of the Siennese area, prepared with products from the farm.
Guests can enjoy a panoramic view on the Val d'Orcia, and of its typical landscape rich in gullies and clay hills.
Countless itineraries can be traced along charming and ancient paths or walking across fields and wilder areas.
