Farm holiday accommodation “I Quattro Laghi” (The Four Lakes) was set up with the intention of reviving and exploiting the country and farming traditions that have been fundamental in giving a specific identity even to this land that is still new.
We have lovingly maintained our Venetian and Friulian traditions from the distant year of 1934 when our grandparents settled on this land that had just reclaimed by real pioneers, and dedicated themselves to cultivating crops and raising livestock in inaccessible and uncontaminated areas of great natural beauty, thus giving life to the following generations.
Between the relatively recent past and a future where we want to see a type of development that is compatible with the environment in which we live, we offer the opportunity to spend unforgettable moments between the lakes and the sea, savouring the flavours of our cuisine and breathing the scents of the countryside, in an area of great naturalistic worth.
“I Quattro Laghi” manages a series of facilities and therefore can offer a complete spectrum of activities and services designed for Touristic-Cultural holidays. To provide for this, “I Quattro Laghi” collaborates with its associates in the use of their facilities and transport services. Given the range of facilities available in the area, we can organise conventions, farm holidays and even sports holidays.
In fact, through these venues “I Quattro Laghi” promotes an intense tourist activity, with organised itineraries, guided tours on themes such as archaeology, culture, religion, nature and gastronomy, mainly in Rome (given its close proximity - only 45 min. by train and an hourly service from the city centre), as well as in Lazio and central Italy.
Farm holiday accommodation “I Quattro Laghi” is situated in the heart of Circeo National Park, in the locality of Sacramento, 80 km from Rome, and a few kilometres away from Sabaudia and San Felice Circeo.
Its fortunate geographical location beside the State owned National Park forest, Lake Caprolace with its Quaternary natural dunes, and the seaside resort of Riviera di Ulisse, offers innumerable possibilities for enjoying Nature and the landscape. The view opens onto the lake and ranges as far as the mythical Circeo promontory.
Areas of swampland are still preserved in the Pontine Marshes, which today has become a favourite spot for birdwatching since many species have made it their natural habitat.
The farm occupies 10 hectares, cultivating vegetable, seed, and greenhouse crops, and raising farmyard poultry and livestock.
