The Agritourism “Lu Feschiuole” is part of a four hectares winery, run by the Rasicci family since 1918. Beside the farm there are also a small church of Saint Joseph and the “Museum of Agricolture”, with tools used in the making of wheat, wine and hempen cloths and others objects used in the everyday life until many years ago.
The Rasicci Winery produces classic wines from Abuzzo, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo “Colline Teramane” D.O.C.G, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC, Pecorino e Passerina, all from autochthonous grapes. The vineyards, newly planted with a high density of plants per hectare, are grown according to organic practices and the production is limited to make a quality product. Even the cellar has been restored and equipped with modern technologies.
A natural grass 40X20 meters football pitch and a table football are also available. Outside there is a wood oven to bake bread, pizza and biscuits and it is possible to organize courses to learn to basket weave with wicker or to make besoms.
From the agritourism, sited on the hills of the Vibrata Valley, near the border between Marche and Abruzzo, it is possibile to enjoy a wonderful view on the mountains of the National Parks of “Maiella”, “Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga” and “Monti Sibillini”, all reachable in a day trip. On the coast, just twelve kilometers away, are the famous seaside towns of Alba Adriatica and San Benedetto del Tronto.
In the outskirts there are places of great historical and artistic importance: the town of Ascoli Piceno, nominee to become UNESCO “World Heritage”, the fortress of “Civitella del Tronto” and the medieval village of Castelbasso, recently restored, and Castel Trosino. An important festival of jazz music takes place in Campli every year and in the little town of Offida the carnival of “Bove Finto” is one of the major attractions. During the summer there are many food festivals in the villages nearby.
