Country traditions continue to flourish in the valley where each season celebrates nature. The corn, grape and olive harvests, and the curing of pork meat end with authentic folk fairs. Inside an old farm building is the “ristoro del fornaio” making specialities of local cuisine, cooked on the fire and in the original wood-fuelled oven.
Where we areThe Valley of the Dark Elm where the Country Houses can be found is 800 metres from the historic village of Monteguiduccio. Some houses are gathered around the thirteenth century parish of San Pancrazio. The others are distributed between the ridge of the hills and the bottom of the valley. Below the parish is a wine cellar selling local products.
