Where we are
The geographic position of the farmhouse “Il Saracino” is extremely advantageous as it is in easy reach of some of the many notable art centres in Italy such as Arezzo, Cortona, Sansepolcro and Anghiari. Also, it is not far from cities like Florence, Siena and Perugia.
Arezzo is home to some relevant international works of art such as the frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the logge of Piazza Grande designed by Giorgio Vasari and the famous crucifix by Cimabue in the church of San Domenico. Furthermore, the famous poet Francesco Petrarca and the inventor of the musical scale Guido Monaco were both born in this area.

Every first Sunday of the month, it is possible to visit and stroll through the back streets and alleyways of Arezzo’s historic centre where the Antique Fair is held. It is one of the most famous fairs in the antique trade, where collectors and antique dealers all over Italy gather together to display and sell their precious antiques. Arezzo also hosts the famous music festival Arezzo Wave, as well as the now historic Polyphonic contest. Just outside the city you will find the new Arezzo Equestrian Centre.
