Situated in the small and welcoming village of San Dalmazio, in the blooming greenery of the Tuscan hills of the province of Pisa, The Monastero is in the middle of the Costa degli Etruschi and the Chianti Toscano vineyards country roads.
San Dalmazio origin is linked to the dramatic ruins of the Castle of Rocca Sillana which dates 1st century b.C. Its name comes from a feminine monastery. They were for long the owners of the castle, of the surrounding territories and of the people who lived inside.
The area is also rich in history and boast a unique artistic and archaeological heritage as Buca delle Fate and Rocca Sillana; Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano and the Etruscan Coast can be easily reached.

Open all year, The Monastero, has been completely renovated and obtained from the complex of the presbytery of San Dalmazio and the ancient charme of the Tuscan tradition with its cotto bricks and wooden ceiling has been maintained.
The “Monastero Apartments” is equipped with 3 swimming pools ( the biggest one, with water games, is 18x9 mt wide; the smallest one, a Jacuzzi, is 7x3 mt wide and the third one is suitable for children). They are all discreetly placed among the wide olive groves and equipped with a solarium that overlooks the valley and the hills of the Tuscan county, in a sunny and quiet position.It offers a variety of activities for your spare time: footpaths or mountain bike excursions, a manage and a small lake in the vicinity.
