The "agriturismo" Locanda dell'Angelo (Angel Inn) is situated over 400 meters above sea level and nestles in an ancient olive grove in the umbrian Hills: Once known as the Villa Bagnariae, because of natural spring in the vicinity, the farmhouse dates back to the thirteenth century.
A tiny chapel, dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine, was erected in 1333 next to the farmhouse, which has stunning views of the basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the vale of Assisi. The agriturismo specializes in the production of organic olive oil. If you love peace and quiet in natural surroundings, this is the holiday you have been looking for.
