In the heart of the countryside, at the foot of the first mountain slopes of west Friuli, Casa del Conte is the result of the recent renovation of an old farmstead. Together with a large expanse of surrounding land, it was once part of the old historic lands of Montereale Valcellina.
Guest rooms have been created in the farmhouse while the stable and adjacent outhouses have been turned into a restaurant. In the surrounding lands, the farm’s agricultural activities include wine production, vegetable growing – both under cover and in the open – and poultry and pig farming. Our guests can observe farm life, and at times participate in harvesting the crops.

Services in Agriturismo Casa del Conte di Montereale Valcellina
The farm offers a Bed and Breakfast service as its the most common package, but half and full board are also available. Extra beds can be supplied for some rooms, and cots can be rented. Rooms are tidied each day, and linen is changed weekly. More frequent changes can be arranged at a supplementary cost. On request, a full daily cleaning service is available. A nursery service is also available on request. Guests can enjoy the free use of the pool and mountain bikes. Small pets are welcomed at no additional cost.
Where we areMontereale Valcellina is the last village in the Pordenone region where the Po Valley becomes the Valcellina. Located at the crossroads between the steep gateway to the Friuli Dolomites and the vast and varied plain of alluvial magredo and a vista of foothills, its proud position between mountain and plain must have tempted its ancient settlers to end their journey here. Nearby places of interest include Lake Barcis, the Piancavallo ski resort and Claut, where a dinosaur’s footprint can be seen…
From Casa del Conte’s relatively central position in the region, it takes less than an hour to reach famous locations such as Venice, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Alpago, Slovenia, Austria, Lignano Sabbiadoro etc.
