In the heart of the Cecina River Valley, at the foot of the medieval village of Montescudaio, surrounded by grain fields and sunflowers, lies "Podere I Melograni".
It is situated a few kilometres from the scented pinewood of the Etruscan coast with its sunny beaches. Its central location will allow you to visit some of Tuscany's most beautiful historical towns.
At breakfast, the owner will serve homemade cakes and other local specialities in front of a cosy fire; during the warm season, breakfast will be served under the patio, where you can enjoy the nice morning breeze.
"Podere I Melograni" is an old farmhouse that has been restored (restoration completed in March 2005). It has five comfortable bedrooms with Tuscan Country furniture plus all modern conveniences (fridge hair-dryer), which will allow you to fully enjoy.
In the enchanting garden, guests can relax by reading a book or swimming. Snacks and cold drinks are available all day. In the evening, guests can organise a lovely barbecue under the stars accompanied by sound of crickets.
