Surrounded by its own vineyards, olive groves, saffron crops, orchards and fields sown with plants to feed the farm animals - horses, chickens, rabbits and bees - Il Vecchio Maneggio “The Old Riding Centre” Estate is a working-holiday farm where you will enjoy the atmosphere of a century-old tradition.
The ancient farmhouse, “Il Vecchio Podere”, located on top of a hill, hosts the owners’ family and accommodates guests in comfortable rooms.
In this peaceful haven, where life rhythms are strictly connected with the passing of seasons, guests will find:
- Five comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, one of which is suitable for disabled persons.

In the magic world of “Il Vecchhio Maneggio”, a farm with a long lasting tradition, guests will find:
- Delicious dinners prepared by Tiziana according to the best Tuscan tradition. In wintertime meals are served in the large dining room in the warm atmosphere of the fireplace, while in summertime they are served in the garden with a stunning view over the Tuscan countryside and the sky-line of San Gimignano’s towers in the distance.
- The riding school ran by Simone, Tiziana’s son and by grandpa Mario, who, thanks to their great passion for horses, teach children and adults to know and love them. Short, medium, and long excursions are also organized with the farm horses (which are currently 20). Unforgettable horse-back riding under the stars!
- Tasting, direct sail and visits to the farm guided by Paolo, Tiziana’s brother, who personally works the land of this ICEA certified organic farm, producing: - White and red doc and docg wines; - Extra-virgin olive oil; - Dop Saffron of San Gimignano; And the fruit of the 200 hives at Il Vecchio Maneggio, - Different types of honey, pollen, propolis and honeydew;
- A relaxing atmosphere in the large garden with mature trees and by the pool, which enjoys lovely views of the surrounding countryside
