Services in Agriturismo Terra D'Aries
While staying here you will be able to go horse riding in the lush hills, or take part in organized trips on foot or on mountain bike in our estate. If you wish you can try your hand at fishing, or just enjoy the view from the pool. Your pets will be made welcome (provide they are small size).
Where we are
Terra d'Aries is a stone's throw from Montone, a small medieval village dating back to the 10th century, just outside Perugia. We are in Umbria, in an area whose skilfully preserved and unspoilt countryside has provided inspiration for painters and poets though the ages. Inside the town walls, the structure of the palazzo's and winding steer all bear witness to their origins. Just a few kilometres away lies Rocca d'Aries, an ancient tower of Byzantine or Longobard origins dating back to the 6th century and once residence of the Braccio. Here the name Fortebraccio from Montone. An oasis of tranquillity, yet which is very close to the major centres of Umbria and central Italy. From here perugia and Assisi, not to mention Tuscany and Lazio, are all a short distance away.
