We can personalize your holiday offering you a wide range of cultural and gastronomic activities:
For those uninterested in agricultural activities we can arrange guided country walks, cookery courses, picnics in the vineyard or between olive trees or simply take a stroll in the woods picking wild mushrooms or chestnuts (according to the season ).
Expand your epicurean horizons and learn the art of Tuscan cooking from simple country cuisine. Our main speciality is extra virgin olive oil, the farm’s pride and joy. Used with every dish that needs oil, it will become a real "must" for every meal. Discover step-by-step how to make a delicious and complete Italian meal, using organically grown food, from appetizers to dessert, including the art of making "pasta fresca".
Nature walks: The area is also ideal for trekking on foot, by bike or horseback and bird watching and of course excursions by boat to the Lake Trasimeno.
Food and wine: The Valdichiana and the surrounding hills are renowned for the quality of their wine, besides the famous names such as Brunello di Montalcino or Sassicaia, within the last ten years, smaller wine producers have contributed to the reputation of Italian wine production in the world. Local cuisine with particular aromas and tastes reawaken an appreciation of simple country food.
Religion, history and culture: An open air museum exists following the footsteps of St. Francis from Le Celle in Cortona towards Chiusi della Verna; from Etruscan Tombs still being discovered and excavated to the Romans and to Medieval Castles and buildings.
