The Holyday farm, Bed and Breakfast and the organic Farm of Monterosello are situated near Città di Castello in the province of Perugia and covers an area of 125 hectares.
The estate overlooks the breathtaking landscape of the Upper Tiber Valley where our visitors can have walks in the woods, trek, fish or practice some canoeing in the lake or some archery. Monterosello offers also a swimming pool and many other services.
Our visitors not only experience a relaxing holiday among the green rolling hills but also a comfortable and cosy stay in our chalet and two country houses.
These have been restored following tradition and offer also meeting rooms used for Yoga lessons, meetings, parties and ceremonies. The reserved character of the owners promises an ‘at home from home’ holiday.
External services: Barbecue, Rental Boats, Rental Bikes, Car park, Park, Tent sites, Plots for Camper
Experiences: Cycle tourism, Trekking, Water Sports
Part of the land about 60 hectares has been fenced off from the hunting grounds making it a protected area for deer, squirrels and many other wild animals.
Evenings at Monterosello are enlivened by good traditional food and wine in the company of new acquaintances sitting in front of a fire or playing cards, table tennis and table football.
The day begins with a hearty breakfast of homemade bread and jams and cakes followed by visits and excursions to nearby Umbrian towns and boroughs. Pets are welcome. Dogs have grounds where they can roam in freedom and a lake in which to swim.
Our courses take place at weekends from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm Saturday and/or Sunday. Min. 4 participants.
At the end of each course the participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a gift.
Monterosello is an easy access to the "Sentiero Italia", a trekking route along the Apennines. It is accessible by foot, horse and mountain bike. The area is richly forested and is crisscrossed by over 60 km of fire lines.
