Just 20 km from Palermo, Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa is the new reality of Sicilian farm holiday.
The large restaurant hall is the historical ‘Sala delle Botti’ (the Barrel Hall), which is embellished by the ancient trusses and original columns. The chapel has recently been scrupulously restored. The work has carefully uncovered the original frescos, tangible signs of the evolution in the figurative arts.

All the room types are furnished in the original 1800s Sicilian style and have Jacuzzi tubs or showers, heating and air-conditioning, mini fridge as well as LCD TV.
Where we are
Guests at Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa will be engaged in tours of the Jato Valley, hiking, trekking and mountain biking along the 21 different WWF itineraries as well as climbing. Other sports activities available at Masseria La Chiusa are: swimming, tennis and football, table tennis, and there is also an area for children playground.
If anybody wishes, they may also take part in the farming activities in the harvest periods thanks to 130 hectares (58 acres ca.) of biologically farmed land that the resort owns. Masseria La Chiusa is the most important cultural and architectural attraction due to 1470 Chapel still bearing the signs of a strong religious culture.
Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa only 20 km far from the city of Palermo is easily linked to Palermo itself, to Monreale and its famous Cathedral, to the archaeological site of Jetas (1300 BC), to Corleone and Ficuzza, to Piana degli Albanesi and Partinico. Trapani and Agrigento are situated only half an hour by car. Interesting Wineries and Cheese Factories can also be easily reached.
