Welcome to the dream of a child brought up in one of the most beautiful green belts in the province of La Spezia. Beverino, in the heart of "La Bassa Val di Vara", is a striking tourist area full of charm, 15 minutes from La Spezia, 30 minutes from the beautiful Cinque Terre, the romantic Portovenere, the poetic Lerici and the historic Sarzana.
It is right on these hills that Rita realised her dream that she had cherished since she was a child. Life had brought her to a secure comfortable office job but far from her dream which she decided one day she would still follow. This was a difficult decision which meant a life full of unknowns, hard work but also of courage and strength in harmony with that much loved nature. That is how the Farmhouse ResortLa Giara was born. A restored 18th century rural home with intact stones, hand sculptured portals and wooden beams which hand down the heritage and stories of simple but real people who continue to live on all around us.

The farm resort has its own parking reserved for guests and offers breakfast and restaurant facilities accessible to the disabled.
Each room is provided with a hair dryer, full set of towels and bedding.
Where we areBeverino is situated just 12km from the city of La Spezia in one of the many green belts in the heart of the area called “Bassa Val di Vara”(this province of Levante Ligure is full of these oases which fortunately today are protected and safeguarded)
It is here that in 2001 Rita Pascotto and her family embarked upon an adventure (just to use a euphemism) and thus the restructuring of a secular country house, surrounded by 7 hectares of land, began.
Located in the hills in sunny Scortica in the middle of 7 hectares of land, the old building (whose stones, hand-sculptured portals and wooden beams have been preserved) has been reviewed, rectified, extended and modernised.
And so "La Giara" was born, an appealing accommodation capable of hosting anyone who wants to experience the emotion of a stay in a first class farm house.
