The farm has independent gas boiler for heating and hot water.
The rooms (furnished with wardrobe, chairs, tables, dressing table, set of bed linen and extra blankets) are each provided with bathroom, equipped with lavatory, shower, locker, linen and towels.
In addition to rooms, are for guests: equipped kitchen (stove quartz, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee espresso machine and a small wood oven) for preparation and to take breakfast, a large living room furnished with sofas, ceramic stove, reading area with desk and bookcase vintage, dining area with table and dresser vintage, music corner with grand piano.
A spacious tiled brick sidewalk surrounds the house all around the perimeter, with areas equipped for heliotherapy and angles in the shade for conversation and reading, at all hours of the day. Also 2 spacious verandas of ancient oak beams and a pergola of grapes allow to take breakfast and snacks outside. Adjacent to one of the verandas is located a wood barbecue for food cooking on coals or grill. The courtyard around the house (5000 square meters) contains an area to walk on green grass, also available for heliotherapy and children's play, a small wood-store equipped for carpentry, car garage (3 parking spaces available for customers) and other spaces outside of the garage. Finally, in another part of the court, is cultivated a small garden with seasonal vegetables and fruit trees.
Where we are
Farm Villa Federica (2 hectares) is located in the countryside of Mergo (AN), a small medieval village (370 metres above sea level), on a gentle hill about 1 km from the village.
The agricultural land around the court is grow to woods, which are the main wood walnut and oak. Even the wood is available for customers. You can take walks and workouts hiking, collecting nuts and other wild fruits of the forest.
Villa Federica is 2 Km from the river Esino, along the adjacent highway Jesi-Fabriano, which have developed along the many villages where you can find everything: supermarkets, shops, sports and leisure facilities of all kinds, public health facilities and private (Jesi nearest hospital 18 km).
The immediate surroundings offer the opportunity for pleasant walks or mountain bike trails on both free and on routes equipped. Heading towards the Apennines, about 10 km from the farm, we meet the Regional Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Caves, the largest protected area of the Marches (9167 hectares), rich in geological remains, botanical species and charming fauna. It can make excursions on foot, horseback or mountain biking, and of course visit the famous caves. Discovered in 1971, the Frasassi caves are the underground complex of Europe's longest and are already known worldwide for its exceptional beauty. You can visit them every day in groups accompanied. Upon booking you can make spelaeology with a guide.
Even going into the Apennines, left the park, meets Fabriano, famous for the valuable paper that is produced today (the paper notes of the major countries of the world comes from Fabriano). Visiting the Museum of Paper and Watermark you can watch the ancient craft of making fine paper production.
Fabriano is close to the Marche-Umbria border: in about an hour's drive from Villa Federica can reach Gubbio and from there, a short distance, Perugia, Assisi and the places connected with the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Its proximity makes it easily to reach Umbria with return to the farm during the day, also for the enjoyment of beautiful scenery and art treasures that Umbria has to offer.
If you head from Villa Federica for the Adriatic Sea, a distance of 18 km you can visit Jesi, the birthplace of Frederick II of Swabia (1194); continuing out to the sea, in about half an hour you can reach the most beautiful places Marche coastal beaches: the velvet beach of Senigallia, Portonovo and its Napoleonic Fort, Sirolo with its cliffs and the magnificent beach of Numana.
